What will this do for me? This will make sure you are keeping your back flat, and protect your lower back from getting the brunt of this exercise. The majority of the tension you should feel is in your hamstrings!
#MotivationalMonday!! It’s here again!! ?
One of the most common mantra’s here at the gym is the term “mental toughness” – usually it’s a dig from Connor (?) but in all seriousness, it’s a quick little term that makes us all stop and quickly take inventory of our mindset.
Every little thing we do all day is aided by our mindset, but for all intents and purposes, one we will focus on the most is physical activity! If your head isn’t in it, it’s not going to give you the benefits that you want it to. If you’re distracted or worried about something else, your workout is not going to be all-in.
One relatable example today is the snow, so put on that mental toughness cap and get the heck in here! Beat the snowy blues!! ??
Happy Monday & we’ll see you all soon! ?
Trainer Tip of the week: Keep your knee aligned over your toe in your band walks!
What will this do for me? When performing lateral band walks, we want to engage your glute med, which is a smaller glute muscle. When your glutes get stronger, they’ll do a better job of keeping the rest of your leg muscles in position when working out!
Happy #MotivationalMonday, ladies!! ?
& happy first full week of November!
As the end of the year approaches, so does the holiday season which can come with a lot of overwhelm and busy schedules!
Don’t let the craziness take over, take each day 1 day at a time, and let this week be a reset button if you need it. Come in and sweat it out this week; get on a consistent schedule and you could feel much more grounded ?
Crush this week, friends!! ?
