New Years Resolutions – Salad

Are you struggling with your New Year’s Resolution?
Do you need any easy win?


Through the month of January, we running are a daily habit challenge with our members. One part of the challenge is to eat 1 salad per day.
7 salads per week. It sounds challenging…especially if you’re starting at zero. But, here is a way to check the box daily on your salad.

COVID Tip: Control what you can control!

Today’s Tip of the Day!

Control what you can control. And, forget about the rest. 

These are crazy times. The craziest of it all is that no one really knows anything. So much is unknown, and the stuff we think “we know” changes everyday.

You will literally drive yourself crazy.

Make a list. What can I control today? This week? This next month?

Write it down. Focus on that. 

It will take a load off your shoulders and it will make you a helluva lot happier.

Chair Mobility: Lat Stretch

Day 3 of Chair Mobility.

We have an upper body stretch today that feels FANTASTIC.

It will stretch out your lats, arms, and give your thoracic spine extension (super important if you are slouching).

Give it a try.

Takes about a minute. Don’t stop doing the other 2 stretches everyday too.

They will make a big difference.

Better posture & breathing with 1 simple tip!

So many are working from home right now. Sitting and typing for hours at a time. How do combat this to fix our posture and get into better positions?

Try this simple tip!

If you continue to sit in the bad positions, it will take a toll on your body. You may not feel the effects just yet. But, the compound effect of shoulder breathing paired with slouching will wreak havoc on your shoulders and low back.

Do this Chair Mobility!

Got a video for all of you working at home. Try this stretch. 

With all the sitting, your low backs are going to be achy, your shoulders will roll forward (slouch), and your glutes will literally fall asleep. All not good!
