First, I want to say thank you to you and to all the trainers at FAST. I am really so grateful for all of you. I felt extremely intimidated to join at first and kept making excuses. I don’t have the money or I’m busy right now, but maybe next month or I’ll join after the Cubs season is over.
I had even contacted you once or twice before finally deciding to take the risk and come in. I am so glad that I did. I have done many workouts over the years and was an avid yogi for awhile before coming to FAST. I had never done anything with real weights though because I had NO idea what I was doing. All of you guys made me feel so comfortable. You all helped me get started when I had no clue what I was doing. You showed me what to do and didn’t make me feel bad for doing it wrong or needing help. You showed me what I could do if I wasn’t yet able to do the workout or if something was hurting. You encouraged me and believed in me. I look forward to coming every morning and joking around with you guys and my friends even though it means I have to wake up by 5! I have changed the way I feel about myself and what I’m capable of. It has really meant the world to me and I can’t imagine starting my day without FAST.
So, thank you- a million times. Sometimes in your life there are things that are out of your control. Life can be so busy and chaotic at times and you can forget to take care of yourself. But it feels really good to be taking care of myself and showing my girls how important it is.
